Emergency Veterinarian

Animal Emergency and Critical Care in Longmont, Colorado is seeking an experienced EMERGENCY VETERINARIAN to join our team. We are located close to Boulder, Denver, and the mountains. Longmont is a wonderful community for the outdoor enthusiast.

 

We are a progressive, team oriented practice that values high quality medicine, communication and compassionate patient care. We have extremely qualified nurses on staff who are committed to excellence. Candidates need to have strong skills in leadership, client communication, and pain management. High standards of medical and surgical care are paramount.

 

You will have an opportunity to collaborate on cases with our other specialties of Oncology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Surgery. Our emergency team works closely with the surrounding area veterinarians and specialists to provide the best critical and emergency care after hours and on weekends and holidays. Our facility also houses a rehabilitation practice that provides excellent physical therapy for our patients. Additionally, we partner with a cardiology group both at our Longmont and Boulder locations.

 

Our new 9000 sq ft facility has a fully equipped lab, digital radiography, ultrasound, monitoring telemetry, long term ventilation and in house blood banking. We also have access to MRI/CT at a nearby facility. Scheduling is flexible with blocks of time off to allow for a work/life balance.

Surgery Veterinary Technician

Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists (AMVS) located in Longmont & Boulder, CO is seeking outstanding veterinary technicians dedicated to providing the highest quality of skilled nursing care in SURGERY. AMVS is a multi board certified doctor specialty practice that includes Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine that provides 24 hour quality care for our patients.

 

The right candidate must:

• Have the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
• Maintain good working relationships with a variety of personalities.
• Possess the ability to handle clients in emotionally intense situations.
• Be a self-starter, able to effectively utilize down-time and multi-task.
• Be proficient in inducing/monitoring/recovering for anesthesia.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals is appreciated.

 

We take pride in our nursing care for our patients, so that must be a top priority for any applicant. Our facility is equipped with digital radiology, in-house lab capabilities, multiple anesthesia machines, a critical care ventilator, ETCO2, ECG, BP, SPO2 monitoring and many more tools to enhance gold standard patient care.

Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician

Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists’ sister-facility, Alpenglow Veterinary Specialty + Emergency Center in Boulder, CO, is seeking Full-Time INTERNAL MEDICINE technicians dedicated to providing the highest quality skilled nursing care. Alpenglow is a multi-board certified doctor specialty practice including surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine that provides 24 hour quality care for our patients.

 

The right candidate must have the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure and maintain good working relationships with a variety of personalities and possess the ability to handle clients in emotionally intense situations. A good sense of humor is essential. Must also be a self-starter, able to effectively utilize down-time and multi-task. Applicant must also be sufficient in inducing/monitoring/recovering for anesthesia, recognize abnormal EKG strips, knowledge of pharmaceuticals, working knowledge and maintenance of ultrasound and endoscopy machines, prior experience is a must in handling chemotherapy drugs.
