Megan Marquez, DVM, DACVECC was raised all over the world, as her father was in the Air Force. She eventually settled into California where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from the University of California Davis, and proceeded to work at the UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital as an ICU technician. She moved to Colorado when accepted to Veterinary School and graduated from CSU in 2012. She later completed an internship in Boston and stayed on the East Coast for her Emergency Critical Care residency at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Marquez became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care before joining the AMVS team in 2016.
Dr. Marquez’s medical interests include respiratory diseases, particularly cases that involve mechanical ventilation, sepsis, and pain management.
