Boulder pets and their guardians are in for a real treat. Alpenglow Veterinary Specialty + Emergency Center (AVSEC) will open its doors on Monday to a comfortable, fully-remodeled 4,300 square-foot facility. Conveniently located at 3640 Walnut St. in the heart of Boulder, AVSEC will utilize the latest techniques and equipment to serve clients, patients and family veterinarians from Boulder Valley and communities along the front range.
AVSEC will serve dogs, cats, small mammals and exotics; offer emergency/critical care and board-certified specialists in cardiology, surgery and internal medicine; employ a team of experienced nurses and support staff; and use state-of-the-art equipment instrumentation and techniques.
Owned and operated by a group of committed and experienced area residents, emergency and critical care will be provided by long-time Boulder emergency veterinarians, Dr. Matt Booth and Dr. Sean Williams; cardiology specialty services and treatment will be led by Dr. Karen Sanderson of Boulder’s Rocky Mountain Veterinary cardiology; and surgery and internal medicine treatment and services will be led by Dr. Matt Rooney of Longmont’s Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists.
