Dr. Amber Caress is originally from rural Alaska.   She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Sciences with a minor in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Colorado State University.  Dr. Caress developed her interest in veterinary medicine while working as a technician at the CSU Veterinary Teaching hospital and completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Colorado State University in 2017.  Following graduation, she pursued an Emergency and Critical care-focused Rotating Internship in Gilbert, Arizona.  In her free time, Dr. Caress enjoys riding her horses, traveling, scuba diving and volunteering with ViDAS (an international spay/neuter assistance program).
