Dr. Erika Pohl grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Colorado to start veterinary school at Colorado State University. Throughout veterinary school, she worked at multiple emergency hospitals in the area, including Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists. After graduating veterinary school in 2019, she completed a one year emergency internship at Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency.

Since moving to Colorado, Dr. Pohl has fallen in love with the state, and lives in Fort Collins with her partner, Jensen, and their two dogs, Hondo and Mindy. In her free time she enjoys hiking, camping, baking and traveling to visit family or just to explore the world.
