A message from Dr. Amanda Hensley...

"Dr. Sarah Leavell brings a robust medical background and specializes in multimodal pain management for geriatric patients along with post-operative recovery and rehabilitation.

I know you will enjoy working with her as much as I have and want to brag a bit about who she is and her background. Prior to joining CAR and Aspen Meadow, Dr. Leavell worked at Colorado State University as a postdoctoral researcher in orthopedic veterinary medicine. Her impressive career began with a degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University. After working at both North Carolina State and Ohio State Universities in viral and oncologic veterinary medical research, she attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Leavell earned her certification in canine rehabilitation therapy from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute and her certificate in veterinary acupuncture from CuraCore.

Her expertise is a welcomed addition to the AMVS team!  After our services are seamlessly integrated, I have so much faith in Dr. Leavell that I am going to pass her the baton to lead the physical rehabilitation at AMVS, formerly CAR."
